GREMARK® is the GREMTEK family dedicated to the identification of wires, cables and electrical harnesses. It combines printable sleeves, ink ribbons and thermal transfer printers to produce marking suitable for industrial installations. Readable identification facilitates wiring, checks and maintenance interventions, while contributing to the traceability of assemblies.
GREMARK® heat shrink sleeves are available in continuous flat tubing or in ladder format, with individual sleeves held on a support for printing. After marking and installation, the constriction allows the sleeve to fit the cable and hold the mark in position. The different diameters and shrinkage ratios make it possible to adapt the choice of support to the dimensions of the cabling.
The range includes several formulations depending on the constraints of the application: GREMARK® GMEC sleeves for routine marking of wires and harnesses, halogen-free GREMARK® GMZH versions, or even diesel-resistant GMDR 3X. These solutions make it possible to meet different needs in electrical cabinets, industrial equipment and embedded systems, particularly railway systems.
The quality of the marking depends on the combination of the sleeve, the ribbon and the printing parameters. GREMARK® GR TT6100 and GREMARK® GR TT6900 tapes complete the range’s media, including resistance to fuels and oils for GR TT6900. The printers allow single or double sided printing depending on the model and production needs.
GREMTEK supports you in choosing this combination according to the diameter of the cables, the environment of use and the requirements for maintaining the marking. Already printed sleeves can also be supplied upon request.
